Public Private Partnership


The RHTU is established as a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) in line with the National Health Plan (NHP) strategy to establish PPPs with relevant major mining and other business ventures to increase the use of outsourcing (particularly for CDP) in Papua New Guinea.

PPP Structure

The RHTU has been established upon the following Public-Private Partnership structure:

  • Australian Agency for International Development (AusAID)

Private (Coordination, lead and implementation)

  • Oil Search Foundation (OSF)

Public-Private Partnership

The Reproductive Health Training Unit is a partnership between the Oil Search Health Foundation, the Papua New Guinea National Department of Health, and the Australian Government's aid program.
